Workshop Synopsis

The coding language, Python, has a simple easy-to-use syntax, making it the perfect language particularly for someone trying to learn computer programming for the first time.   2. Installation of Python
  3. Basic structure of a Python program (Hello world)
  4. Types of statements

  5. Logical & arithmetic Operators
  6. Output Formatting

  • To equip the participants with the basics of Python programming.
  • To demonstrate the use of Python in solving simple mathematical problems.

Requirements: 

Please bring your own laptop for this workshop. Your laptop should be running the 64-bit Windows operating system. Users should have administrator privileges on the laptop for software installation. Follow the instructions here to complete the installation.
